You are probably thinking what BBPA mean???
It means British Born Pakistani American. I was born in London to Pakistani parents, got married and then became a naturilized US citizen.....
I have been thinking about what that means a lot lately, especially after reading the article below

I have been trying to work out what defines me the most being British Born, Pakistani or American???

i think at the end of the day we can have an infinite amount of definitions and within that sub-definitions of what ethnicity people are and where they come from. I believe some definition beyond the all encompassing word 'asian' is good as it prevents generalisations and encourages the understanding of the multiplicity of cultures and religions in any given area.
But I worry politically speaking does this pigeon hole people and communities and subject them to greater criticism?
Although this is just a small worry because I think BBPA is good way of defining you bhaji.
But we have to remember some people arent so easily defined nor want to be defined. And im not sure how this necessarily leads to integration - as suggested in the article.
just some thoughts uz x
p.s i dont think you would define yourself as a 'BBPA' if you did not think you were defined by each of these wonderful cultures.
